Our favourite American BGSR charger has been spending a lot of time in the Colorado Rockies of late. Kelly has been missing the Bondi Girls Surfriders, and the epic surf we experience down at Bondi every day so much, that she’s coming back for a visit in 2012.

Olivia Lucas..We salute you
29 Nov- ‘Bondi Girls Surfriders’ has been blessed with fabulous club presidents since the club’s inception back in 1999. The job must be very rewarding because in the past 12 years we have only had three, Brenda Miley, Madeline McMahon and most recently, Olivia Lucas.
In her 2nd year as club president ,Olivia has continued to bring her youthful enthusiasm, endless energy and frothing “Aloha Spirit’ to BGSR. (more…)

Kimmy Mac’s comp wrap – Nov 11
14 NovSometimes a quick comp is a good comp, especially when all that is on offer are small lackluster waves and high tide is fast approaching. That’s what we had to work with at the Nov comp last Saturday, so we elected to get things going ASAP. The smaller conditions didn’t deter the Bondi Girls Surfriders who brought their ‘A game’ to the beach, hitting the waves hard, with high scores and close heats being the order of the day. (more…)
Kimmy Mac’s Comp Wrap – ‘Chloe’s day’
27 OctChloe Byron’s spirit was smiling down on us all at Bondi Beach, Sunday 16th Oct as friends of the Byron family and Surfers from the 3 Boardriders clubs in Bondi, and all over NSW came together as one, to pay tribute to a beautiful young lady who lost her life all too soon.
The energy coming from the grass above 3rd ramp was buzzing throughout the morning, even a whale put on a show for us in glorious fashion launching itself out of the water ,over and over again. The day was truly blessed. (more…)
