- Chloe Byron memorial Contest
- Sunday 17th Oct 2010
- Registration from 7am, first heat 8am
Dave and Tia Byron extend a warm invitation to all girl surfers to come along and join and the Bondi surfing community to celebrate the life of Chloe Byron, who died in the Bali bombings.
Chloe was one of our first grommets, a real sweetie and a great long boarder.
Dave is a great ambassador of women’s surfing in Bondi and has recently been having some health issues, so this year it is more important than ever that we get behind this event. He promises fabulous prizes, trophies, delicious food (vegos catered for) and a day filled with the Aloha spirit.
It is a great way to show your support, meet other surfers and help to contribute to a worthy charity, the Homicide Victims Support Group, at the same time. BGSR supports this event every year. If you haven’t been to many of our comps this year, make sure this day is one you don’t miss, you will welcomed with open arms.
Aloha Kim
